As they flee a dying Earth, the human race is in need of a new home. Who has the intelligence, the wisdom, the courage, and the empathy to save our species from extinction?

Meet the crew of the Little Brother...

Lights flicker on a lonely spacecraft. Its artificially-intelligent stewards are arguing about their next decision. Each A.I.--from the starry-eyed military dog SARGE to the hyper-logical eagle EIN--believes it should be the one in charge. Unable to reconcile their differences, the A.I.s are doomed by indecision... until they discover a mysterious device that lets them reach across time and space to appeal to an impartial judge: YOU.

Star Billions was first doodled in a notepad by co-creator James Tillman as he waited to meet with a potential employer. His brother Matthew Taylor discovered the notepad when visiting James and encouraged him to pursue the idea. Together they spent the summer of 2015 writing what would become the first season of Star Billions.

On December 8, 2015, Star Billions was initially released to the public and its unique approach to player engagement was covered by sites like Polygon and VentureBeat. The brothers quickly returned to the studio and, with the guiding words of players, reviewers, and fellow developers, completely rewrote the game's underlying code and lovingly crafted the second season of Star Billions.

Season 2 of Star Billions launched on iOS and Android on April 7, 2016. The second season took the combination of cute characters and weighty themes to new heights as the crew was asked to defeat itself both literally and figuratively.

The third and final season of Star Billions, "Last Transmission", arrives on March 29, 2017. A series companion book, "Star Billions: The Fin Zine", is set to follow soon after. "The Fin Zine" is a fanzine written from the perspective of Gil, the lovable piscine steward of the in-game shop. It serves triple duty as a comedy book, a compendium for the Star Billions universe, and an exploration of the game's themes.
